By allowing anyone to list any NFT project without prior approval, they became the default 'Liquidity Hub' for the entire crypto-creative ecosystem. Their growth was self-reinforcing: every new NFT project (Bored Ape, Punks) linked to OpenSea as the primary secondary market, effectively using the entire NFT creator community as their external sales force and marketing department.
